Balloon Animals A2 Box Card: Printable Directions!

Before February ends, I wanted to share this fun card I made with the Stamp of the Month, Balloon Animals.

If you are a card maker, you have probably seen the box cards that have become so popular lately. They are so much fun because they fold flat in the envelope but pop up into the shape of a box. You can add images on the front, back and even in the middle of the box to make it really interactive.

Take a look by watching this video!

The patterns I've seen fold to fit into a 6" square envelope. After a few calculations, I created this one that will fit in a standard A2 envelope.

Want to make one of your own? You can download nad print the cutting and assembly directions!

Don't forget that the Balloon Animal stamp set is only available during February, so if you want one you need to place your order right away.  I love this set -- check out all the cute images you get:

February 29 is also the last day to get the Share the Love stamp set:

Share The Love: Smile Camera Card (3 of 3)

Over the last two days, I have posted the first two of three cards I made using the exclusive Share The Love stamp set. (You can see them HERE and HERE.) Today, I am sharing my final card which features a throw-back camera.

One again, I used the non-baby patterns in the Georgis paper. For this card, I used a large piece of the chevron paper. I just love the yellow and grey combo, don't you? The sentiment for this card "You Make Me Smile" is also from the paper pack. It is trimmed from one of the zip strips

The camera was stamped in whisper ink on a white cardstock square. To add a pop of color and dimension, I stamped the camera again on yellow B&T (printed) paper. For this second camera, I trimmed out just the flash and attached it to the camera with foam tape.

The Share The Love stamp set is fully loaded with all these images:

Share The Love: My Friend Typewriter Card (2 of 3)

Yesterday, I posted the first of three cards I made using the exclusive Share The Love stamp set. (You can see that post HERE.) Today, I am sharing my second card which features another "retro" machine: a typewriter. I put retro in quotes because it just doesn't seem right to call it that, but my 15 year of daughter would say it is true!

As I mentioned yesterday, the Georgie paper is not just for babies! The patterns have a great geometrical retro feel that is perfectly paired with this stamp set.

The typewriter was stamped in whisper ink on white cardstock then trimmed out. To add a pop of color, I stamped the typewriter again on yellow B&T (printed) paper and trimmed out just the paper and adhered it on the typewriter image. Foam tape adds some dimention and a couple grey gems finish the card off.

Share The Love: Hello Phone Card (1 of 3)

Last weekend, I finally had a chance to play with the Share The Love stamp set that is exclusively available in February. Over the weekend I'm going to share with you the three cards I made. The first one today, then another on Saturday and the final card on Sunday.

For all three cards, I choose the Georgie paper. Even though this paper has elements for a baby theme, it has some fun retro designs that I thought worked well with this stamp set.  Today's card simply says "Hello" and features something today's kids may not recognize: a rotary phone.

The phone and "Hello" speech bubble were stamped in whisper ink on white cardstock then trimmed out. To add color and dimension, I stamped the phone again on yellow B&T (printed) paper and trimmed out just the dial. Then I layered it on the phone using 3D foam tape. Finally I finished the card off with a splattering of grey gems.

This stamp set is really fun. The images are adorable and the sentiments fit many occasions.

Remember this stamp set is only available in February 2016 and the your purchase can help provide a life-changing operation to a child through Operation Smile. Click HERE to learn more about how your purchase supports this mission.

Be sure  to come back tomorrow to see my next card. Here's a sneak peek:
