Artfully Sent Details: Base Function

I'm so excited to finally have the Artfully Sent Cricut cartridge in my hands and have been playing around with it. I can't wait to show you my creations. However, first I thought it would be helpful to share with you some details about how to make the various types of cards on this cartridge.

Earlier this week, I posted about the Pop-up and Scene Cards. You can use these links to learn more about these card types.
Now that we have finished all the types of cards on the Artfully Sent cartridge, this final post will focus on the Base functions. This is what is available when you do not press any function key.

First of all there is a complete NEW font. It includes upper- and lower-case letters, numbers and several punctionation marks and symbols.

You will also find multiple options for envelopes to cut on Artfully Sent. There are seven choices for 4 1/4" x 5 1/2" envelopes and six different 5" x 7" envelopes. You can mix and match these with the cards you make.

In addition, each envelope includes a coordinating liner. You dn't have to use it, but it s a great way to add a personal, decorative touch. You simply cut them (don't change the size dial) and slip them in the envelope.

Once you have cut the envelope and liner, use the tic marks for scoring and folding. Adhere the edges and you have a completed envelope.
